my question is how have use connected your pipping from the inlet to the pipe thats connected to the i/c on the other end, is it by:
a right angle rubber?
a right angle steel pipe?
or some other way a have tried the right angle rubber and it just gets sucked in any other way?

Do you mean the inlet pipe on top of the intake manifold?
I have a FMIC, the outlet from the SC has been modified to point forward, the return from the IC feeds to a modified inlet pipe. The inlet pipe has had a right angle aluminium neck welded to the end to point towards the front of the car. Before I fitted the modded pipe I had an ugly right angle pipe hose clamped onto the inlet.
