The Celica Car Club of Qld (soon to be Toyota Car Club of Australia) is open to all Toyota owners, and you'll find plenty of old-school stuff there. I can provide more details if you're interested.

I'd be keen in hearing more about the club.
Do they host autocross events or similar btw?

They used to hold motorkhana events on a regular basis, but then the whole insurance thing came along and screwed that up (ie no-one would cover motorsport events any more).  They've made new arrangements through the Marque club, but I'm not sure if they're holding their own events yet.

You should come along to the next club meeting then! We meet at the Motorama 4x4xMore showroom on Beaudesert Rd, starting 7:30pm first Tuesday of the month. All welcome so don't be shy.
