Seam welding Mon, 14 April 2003 12:28 Go to next message
My car, Sprinter, is in bits and we are replacing a rear quarter. Should i keep the welder out and do all the seams in the car?
Who has done it and does it stop alot of the flex in the back? Should i also do the chassis rails to floor seams?

Thanks

Brad

Seam welding is not recommended! Try stitch welding. This will stop alot of body flex depending on where you do it of course!
