Hey i just bought some secondhand mags they are 15x6 size..
They came with some 205/55/R15 Tyres (only need to replace one of them)
Anyways my orignal tyres are 165/75/r13 (a ae82 corolla Single cam)
i was wondering whether i can use the 205 tyres on it?? or will i have to change to some smaller profile ones??
if i need to change what size tyres should i get (195/50/R15)??
Thanks!

205/55 is really a bit oversized ... about 5% too big; but if you want to get your money's worth out of the tyres it's not going to hurt anything. Just keep in mind that you'll be doing 105kph when your speedo reads 100.
Ideally, you'd want to go for 195/50, which is only 0.3% undersize, or if you want to stick with the fatter profile, 205/50's are only 1.4% oversize.
Regards,
Liam.

195/50/15 is the biggest you can go on one of them... a 205/50/15 will ahve a to bigger rolling diameter from the standard 165/73/13 size and are also alot more expencive and havent got as much of a choise from the 195's a 205/55/15 is the correct size for ra series celicas and are way to big for a corolla... they are actually elligal in most stated for a corolla... 195/50/15 is the way to go they are very close and the legal size for the corolla you wont wanna go a higher diameter then that
