I know this is mainly a Toyota site but I have a mate who has a Range Rover 4WD which is running gas and petrol the problem is he wants to be able to adjust the timing by the flick of a switch when he goes between the two for more power.
Has anybody heard of this being done before somehow and by what means?

Probably the easiest/chepest way would be to install the Jaycar HEI kit and then the Programmable Ign kit.
It stores two maps and can easily switch between them.
Tell your friend to get UAZ front cut from russia and he will get that timing mechanism . He would get also that mighty 2.5 liter gas-guzzler with 92(SAE)hp for future purposes.
