I know this is mainly a Toyota site but I have a mate who has a Range Rover 4WD which is running gas and petrol the problem is he wants to be able to adjust the timing by the flick of a switch when he goes between the two for more power.
Has anybody heard of this being done before somehow and by what means?

Probably the easiest/chepest way would be to install the Jaycar HEI kit and then the Programmable Ign kit.
It stores two maps and can easily switch between them.

I cant think of another easier way....

Tell your friend to get UAZ front cut from russia and he will get that timing mechanism Laughing . He would get also that mighty 2.5 liter gas-guzzler with 92(SAE)hp for future purposes.
