Telling 4AGZE's apart Wed, 19 June 2002 14:56 Go to next message
I know the three distinct versions (and the distinct differences between them).

- AW11 and early AE92
- late AE92
- Ae101

BUT....

Are there any ways of telling both the MAP sensored versions appart. I.e. is there anything that can identify an AE101 version from the late AE92 version?

I also dont suppose there's a date or model no. stamped anywhere on the 4AGZE?

4 things come to mind: -
check date on spark plug leads
intercooler cover is different - has the new toyota symbol on it too
s/c pulley is slightly smaller (apparently)
part number on map sensor is different to the ae90 series.
