just looking to replace the stolen one... wondering what brands are recomended. Thinking of something with security feature/s - detachable face?
I like Pioneer, and definately like the hidden/simple install. No 'big bits' to attract unwanted attention from passers-by!!
May also need to consider using a double DIN head unit (as that's what the old one was) saving on extra work to cover the extra space..??
Even if it originally had a double din, you dont need to get a double din player. You can buy a piece that goes underneath the cd player and is recessed. Then you can chuck your sunnies in there or your loose change or whatever.
I got nothing but praise for Alpine head units. Great quality and classy looks. I went single DIN in the soarer and am going to fill the extra space with the boost controller, and maybe an Apexi RSM if it fits.
