Bendex Metal Kings work very well.. and they're cheap too, but I guess it depends on what you consider performance.

The Jap spec vented disc brake would suit your need. I got a set for sale, 2 calipers and almost new vented discs with EBC Street Kevlar pads (done only 100km), and they will bolt on to your strut, PM me if you are interest.

No modification at all, just undo the old brakes and everything bolt on, very easy job. BTW the EBC Street Kevlar pad is rated 400 degrees.

I'm sure the Jap ones offer good braking however if you can't get your hands on them, I get along fine with the slotted DBA rotors & bendix metal king pads on mine.

I guess if you're running a stock 4AGE like me, this is more than enough stopping power you'll ever need although I am yet to take it out to the track.

It's more than suits my needs for the street though ...

If you are going to have some fun on track, you will need vented disc. $450 for the kit.

Here's a pic for the disc, the caliper looks same as the Aus solid one.
