Hi all.. need to fit an ATF cooler and have this one lying around (its an oil cooler but presumably okay for ATF).
Do you reckon its too small for the autobox? Its going to be running between 360 and 390bhp flywheel.
The size is 260x120x35 and its a 10 row. The box is an A342E (rare, used on the JZA70 1JZ)
What you reckon?
Cheers

Heya,
i think if you had a 9 or 10 inch thermofan, cowled and pulling air thru, you would have little trouble dissapating heat.
if you just sit in in the airflow at the front of the car, it might not do the job (it might tho..) but with a dedicated fan, it will be much more efficient at cooling. you could run a thermofan switch with the temp taken from the tranny exit, so the fan isn't always on.
other than that, it looks like a good size. occasionally on ebay there are 11x11" coolers for sale...
what brand is that one, how much and what fittings are on it?
i'm looking for an engine cooler for mr little rolla.

Ive now found another one at a good price.. 13 row, 13x5x2 inches...seems ideal.
Cheers for the replies..
