considering a button clutch

my current clutch is on the way out, so I'm looking for a new one.
now, the engine has only been in the car about 6 months or so, and although it has been a fairly hard 6 months it's obvious the clutch wasn't made for 1jz power.
the way I figure it, I have 3 options:
1. get a replacement kevlar coated plate. nice and cheap, but also likely to fail again reasonably soon.
2. get a *heavy* ceramic clutch put in (maybe not quite a 1-ton clutch, but in that area). This is what I'm looking at at the moment, as I've heard the clacks a 6 button clutch makes. but just how heavy does a clutch have to be to deal with ~400bhp (which is where I hope to be pretty soon)
3. get a 6-button clutch. I don't know much about these, except they're noisy when they're not all the way in!
I've also got my doubts about the strength.. I mean, most of the power is only going through those 6 buttons, so isn't there a decent chance of them breaking? (although I assume the manufacturers thought of this and have done something about it)

i will always recommend buying alutches from the PBR warehouse in Wetherill park. my heavy duty 4K one (i know, it's tiny) was $125 vs $25 in shops.
they also have all the parts in stock so you can mix and match pressure plates and friction plates. ie standard or HD (RPM) pressure plate, and sprung or fixed organic, or ceramic puck etc.
not sure what they are like for advice but all you can do is call them. if you are after a PBR clutch, you will prolly not find a cheaper place..
as for wat to get, it all depends on how you want to use it. if you want to dump it at 6krpm with full boost, you will obviously need a better clutch, than if you let it out early and use the engine to gain speed rather than the flywheel.
puck clutches are grabby and not really pleasant on the street. the idea of them is that when they engage, they stay engaged and don't slip (partially why they have pucks, more force per unit area on each puck) they are great for racing but not nice on street.
a sprung organic friction plate will be really nice to use (because it's sprung) but with your power, it could break...
a fixed centre organic will be not as smooth as the sprung one, but i'm sure you could cope. being organic means it is easier to slip, but you need a heavier pressure plate (to get more force per unit area) than for a ceramic clutch....
dunno, maybe call around a few places and get advice, and call PBR and see what they say... do they make a clutch for your motor?
