why not just do it yourself then you know what sort of job to expect
id rather burn all my cars than take them to a ford dealer, look at any old fords they fall apart they cant even make them properly in the first place why trust them to fix something they dont know shit about, you should be driving a XE falcon not a gt4

Maybe I should of bought an RA65 for towing the caravan around Australia?

it would have to be a ra65 with a 250 crossflow motor shane , for towing .. and a 9 inch for traction !
And a c10 auto for those long luxury miles of happy toyforda towing ..
And have XR8 wheels , and a tickford bodykit ... and a " piss on holden Sticker "
then it might do the job ..
Oh and it would have to be Ford electric blue !

Actually - i might sell it and Buy an XE - a nice 250 EFI turbo -Cutting sub 10's on the blackstrip - make a great caravan tower that would .. Or an XE ESP - with a 351 .. yummo .. 330 Kw would be nice from a dirty big turbo and intercooler - probably have chage out of selling the Gt4 too , and parts are well , everywhere !
Or a Greenstuf Lookalike "Phase 5" XE falcon - with the DJR blueprint motors - Nice limited edition that .. Or an Xe fairmont . Nothing like velour EVerywhere !
Plus i can get parts cheap - lifetime ford discount - woo ! got to love sub $32K Xr6 turbos

I wonder how much you could pick those BA turbo motors for .. the ECu doesnt matter - aftermarket would be the go - in something liek a ra65 - or ma61 supra - it would hammer
less weight than a BA - near on the ultimate sleeper - who cares about the looks - just rolling up in one and going whee ! as boost kicks in on a big torquey 6 would rock .. upgraded front end , of course to stop the nose drooping more , and a stronger dif ( their solid axle anyway - 9 inch the bugger ) and a toploader/fmx would be fun
be a fun strip project

you can get off the shefl turbos and superchargers for AU's now if you didnt know - got a mag here " performance fords " with a big write up about 3 ways of tuning your AU 6 cyl for better go "
goes thru NA tuning for cams and ECU , turbo and supercharger - marks pro's and cons etc .. and costs !

Do you think if I fitted an RA23 front end to my TA22 I could fit the XR6 turbo engine? That would hammer

hey stu when do you think it might be when you actually DO SOMETHING to a car you say you will instead of only talking about it ?....for instance all that 3/4 race cam rubbish you sprouted not so long ago "oh im getting it done this weekend"..."but it lifts the front wheels up and paw wiggles when i stomp it"...not from 49rwhp baby sorry
you can talk about turbo fords all you want but they wont cut 10's on the black strip if you even know what that is, and they wont be owned by you unless you buy somebodys elses project, lets face it your car modding goes as far as a new stereo, a weber and personalised plates....

Stu, I can only say it again, Should have stuck with old school.
They're unbreakable!!!! (almost )
Well where ever you take it too good luck.
I know that when we take our car's to the dealers to get serviced the try to screw my mum over. Mum turned around and told them where to go and we'll do it ourselves.
I don't trust strangers with my car.

are they your cars shane ?...no....and dont try to tell me you used to have 2 750hp cobras again cos i just cant listen to your dribble anymore, but lets see you try to keep up with my 349hp charger, and i have the dyno sheets to prove it
stu's ta22 couldnt keep up with my midly worked 22re ra65 so it didnt really go that hard and it sounded like a bumble bee

say what you like wayne - i really dont care anymore ..
All i know now is i have a fixed car - and its one of toyotas best straight from the factory .
toyota apologised for the fuckup and gave me a large discount on the secondary error - so i got what i wanted in the end ..
just keep your spanners turning and see what you can produce in the end - it might be worth a comment later down the track from people who really care
