currently im putting together a list of what i want to do to the car.
basically i want to do a 1ggte conversion and a total bare metal rebuild. im trying to track down parts at the moment and estimate the total cost of the car once completed to be around the 35K mark. it seams to be a lot but it will be almost a new car with the exception of the body.
hopefully ill get the job im applying for so i can start the rebuild at the start of next year.

35k is an educated guess.
I am compiling an excel document with all of the parts/prices on it and its currently at
$31370 that is with things like 18 inch rays engineering (volk racing te37's) wheels at $3500 a set. (ill prolly get 17's or 16's) body kit estimated at 4k including rear spoiler. 1k for paint (I have friends who do an excellent job very cheaply 4 me) around 10k for the engine + exhaust. 7k for interior, 10 k for the running gear + engineering and the car.

been writing the actual list for about a week. i keep adding parts to it when i think of them

the car wont be finnished for a couple of years.

I figure that it isn't really that much money for a car considering somethihng like a late model supra or a ss commodore is about 40k. before you start modifying it.

And it has resale value Smile

Thing with mine is, I know I won't be able to get all my money back, but I couldn't afford to spend $10k on a car outright and it wouldn't be as...well, mine Very Happy
