Look what I found on the CelicaSupra forums:

This is precisely what I've been looking for to alleviate my cooling problems! You can buy em here for US$150:

Veeery nice.

$150US you say? Hmmm....wonder how much the shipping on something like that would be...

You could almost use that for a CAI as well...

you could make the 2J Supra look like KNIGHT RIDER!! norbie !

Woo wOO !

is it radiator cooling issues or venting to underhood - that you have issues with ?

Im taking you dont want to hack holes in the bonnet for additional venting ( ie something like Cosworth style vents )

chuckles - ill have to look out for some swish swish red LED's for you Wink

on that note i have a silly friend in the US who wants to do this to his 84 Zed fairlady .. Apparently those crazy zany americans sell full Knight ricer " kits for the 300zx Wink

I am thinking along the same lines as suprav8 but that also may have something to do woth the red bumper. Confused

however it would be damn handy to have a bit of fresh air running through that toasty warm engine bay.

what do you reckon about a bit of mesh of what ever colour in the holes?

I admit they don't look that good, and frankly I'd rather leave my Supra looking completely stock, but what's the point of a stock-looking Supra with a blown up 2JZ as a result of overheating? I definitely need more airflow through the radiator because it overheats on the highway on hot days. The problem is only going to get worse when I re-install the air conditioning.

If others are interested perhaps we could organise a group buy to save on shipping costs? I'm also going to approach a local fibreglass/bodykit outfit and see if they can do something similar for a better price... I'll keep you all posted.
