"Y" split for brake lines

Hello,
Just after some information in regards to spliting the bundy tubing from one into two lines, running to both front brakes. I have tried searching local brake shops for a Y connection but apparently they dont sell these anymore, only "T" joints.
Does anyone know if this will effect the braking, IE should I go looking in a wreckers yard for "Y" joints.
It will be used on a 1975 lancer and the joints need to be threaded. Also does anyone know of any older cars to get this item from, I've been told older model corolla's.

Just use the T...it will have no effect on your braking. Of course, use the Y if there is some physical constraint that makes it impossible for you to use the T.
Corona Mk2s have a Y stle splitter on the diff housing.
