Mmmmm gee I wonder why Toyota never thought of doing that!
Seriously, it just sounds like a resister, probably 10 cents worth...

this is an absolute crock of shite for want of a better expression.
it 'modify's' the air temp sensor, telling the ECU that it is cold, and thus if you ECU has a cold air enrichment, it will add more fuel.
basically it is a 10c resistor which you can get from jaycar
theoretically it will inject more fuel, but only slightly, and you don't need to inject more fuel if your mixtures are ok already!
i can't believe that they actuall sell this crap..
just like the 'magnetic fuel straightener', a magnet that 'aligns you fuel molecules, increasing power in your engine'
or those intake 'vortex things, basically a cut up coke can which introduces 'swirl' into your intake, and produces 'better cylinder filling'
basically these products are aimed at ppl who have heard a catch word, and don't know enough about a car to know better...
the air temp one would actually work to put more fuel in, but if you don't need it? don't bother
anyways, that's my rant...

Yeah, if you read the feedback, it's only a resistor. Hardly worth the $10 when Jaycar sells them for a few cents.
