it's black, about a cubic inch in size, generally has "pressure sensor" written on it, and has a vaccuum pipe attached.

its like a small black cube
has a small pipe comin from it where a vacuum line slides onto it
has a number on it like 89250 12040
not exact number
has 3 wires goin to it
no its not screwed into the intake manifod
it always has a vacuum line goin to it
the vacumum line goes down behind the manifold and t pieced into another vac line just above the supercharger

only mod u could do is maybe put a fuel cut defender if u r runnin more boost
but apart from that i wouldnt go playin with it
its a thin piece of flexible metal in there which bends under vacuum
if u adjust any setting to it it will stuff up yr feul map

just so people know "MAP" stands for Manifold Absolute Preasure.
there isn't much you can do wit the engines sensors to mod the engine, like you can do little things like put a resistor in the coolant temp sensor which will cause it to run a little richer but its not worth it, if you have an EFI car your best bet to get most power out if it is to get a unichip or even better a motec system and have it mapped for peak power throughout the rev range, if you just modd a sensor it might make it better at low revs but crap at high revs and so forth, it wont be consistant.
for example only time you get advantage from changing a sensor would be if the sensor can't keep up with mods for example if engine has had heaps of work done to it and sucking in heaps more air the original air flow meter might not be able to keep up therefor telling the computer there is less air going into the engine then their really is, which is when you get a new sensor but at the same time you still have to remap your computer,
EFI isn't like a carby its run by a computer therefor it has to be tuned by a computer. which isn't good as that means $$$$ but thats why i'm going to get a motec so it can be re mapped over and over again the only big expense is the buying of the motec in the first place but when you think about it a motec system isn't much more then getting a whole new exhaust system and you would get biger power gains by getting a motec system then an exhaust

if u r runnin a wolf dont u just run a vacuum line from manifold
to the wolf
i havnt sen a wolf close up but most aftermarket ecu's have an internal map sensor
