blakstop is newer, slightly more powerful and heaps more expensive/hard to come by.
i think blacktop is MAP as opposed to silvertop being AFM

there are quite a few differences.
black top has (compared to silvertop):
*larger throttle bodies (2mm bigger in dia.)
*higher rev limit (500rpm more)
*lighter bottom end
*MAP sensing (AFM for silver)
*only 5 or so hp more,but better response
*costs three times as much.
visually,the rocker and cam belt covers are different shapes.
that's off the top of my head. if you research it properly,you'll likely find several other smaller differences.
