Ballpark figure?

Now i know this is rather vague, but i was just curious if anyone could give me a ballpark figure on a total respray of a sprinter. I know there are heaps of varying factors but im curious as to like what a rust removal and 'decent' paintjob would cost? or if anyone has any previous experience with getting their car done. Also another thing is seals, like door seals and rear window seals, where do i get them replaced?
thanks, im just tired and bored. and really need a respray!

seals can be baught as a kit and can be replaced with little effort, tedious, but getting it done by somebody else wouldnt be worth it...
respray are dependant on a heap of factors, such as, rust, condition of existing paint... also dependant on what paint you want, harlequin paints being the most expensive, then black and so on. i got quoted $2000 for my RA28 to be repray in the same colour and i did all the body work! $6000 if i wanted them to cut the rust out (theres very little) and get the little dents out...
all this and your cars out of order for about 3-4 weeks...
thats money better spent on the engine IMO

Unless you know a mate who's a spray painter or you're willing to do all the prep work yourself, I'd budget around $3k to get something decent (ie. people don't say it's a crappy paintjob).
Well, that's what it cost me up here in Qld anyway. Speedcore also got someone to do his for around the similar price range as well ...
As for replacing the sealing, um ... I keep the originals as I couldn't find new ones. Same goes for all the clips etc ... not sure but I doubt if anyone supports Sprinter parts in these areas ...
Toycelica 77's right ... your car will be out of action for about 3-4 weeks. It'd be cheaper if you resprayed the car the original colour as well ...
On the other hand, removing rust & dings etc could blow your budget out ... my car had no rust and was a fairly straight example ... it was the labour which cost me.
