Its out of a VN and has the stock disks but with Toyota stud patten! Dont know what ratio. I was going to replace the center for the ratio I wanted so this wasnt an issue for me! Also I was told it has an LSD but I'm not sure!

Supra brakes or VN? Hand brake set up? what ratio? LSD? number of spline? IS this a stock vn diff cut to ta22 size or has the offset been changed? etc etc etc

It has VN brakes.
Yes it has a handbrake.
Raito? Read above.
LSD? Read above.
28 spline I think.
Its a VN diff shortened to the same length as a stock TA22 diff.

I dont know if it was out of a V8 but if it is an LSD there is a very good chance it was a V8 Very Happy
The work was done by someone that works at a diff shop Rolling Eyes
As for the heat treatment, how do they normally do resplines?

v8's didn't always have LSDs in VN's - it was an option in some models.

LSD will be on the little tag on the diff (if its still there) but given its been shortened it may not be there.

$700 for a shortened commodore LSD is a bargain - a normal commodore LSD in whatever nick will go for around this price!

What does it weigh, and what is the length, mounting face to mounting face?

No idea on the weight although I can carry it myself. And its the exact same width from face to face as the TA22 diff.
