Rail Freight from Perth to Melbourne Mon, 21 April 2003 09:22 Go to next message
I'm just wondering what it would cost to get my car from Perth to Melbroune?
And is the cost seasonally adjusted, or just a flat rate all year around?

Has anyone had any good\bad experiences with moving cars via the railway?

And last of all, how much(roughly) would it cost to drive it from Melbourne to Brisbane?

Reason i ask is because at the end of the year i'm thinking of going for a long holiday in brisbane to visit family and friends and last time i went there for a holiday it was a real bitch not having my car(i know it would probably be alot cheaper to buy a cheap\shit car for while i was there but i am just sussing out various ways on doing this)

That way of moving a car might seem a bit odd...but i do have my reasons for wanting to do this Smile
