Don't quote me on this but I don't think 18R-C's came out with electronic dizzy's. the 18RG did but will it will not fit( I tried) I think you can take out the guts of it and swap it over. I have also been told to do the same with a 22re, they are easier to come by at the wreckers, you will have to get a different coil and ignitor fron the same engine. Worth looking into though
I can voutch that the 18rc does not come with a electric dizzy also, i have pulled a part several 18rc powered cars and the dizzys have all been mechanical units.

There use to be a kit that you could buy a couple of years ago to replace the points but i dont know where to get it or how much try an auto elec.
PS did you get the A/C working properly with that harness that i got you?
