has anyone out there managed to find some replacement speakers that actually fit into the standard RA celica underdash positions? for the life of me i cant bare to cut the door trims (yes i am anal about my interior)... [Report message to a moderator]

I fitted a pair of Rockford Fosgate 4x6" 60 watt full range speakers (part #FRC1246) The originals only have 2 attachment points so I had to bolt them in across the diagonal after drilling the speaker holes out a little. The fit is not perfect but they sit tight and theres no chopping required. [Report message to a moderator]

u fit 4x6" speakers under the dash in the original positions? shit aye there must be more room under there than i think. thanks ross ill have to pull the dash apart and have another look, this means i can effectively put in a good set of 4" speakers in. thanks again.
