servicing is coming up soon. I'm thinkin' about doing it myself.
What needs changing?
Which oil?
Anyhting else i need to know about servicing my 1ggte?
any help would be good!

Uh... same stuff as every other engine.. pretty straightforward.
Air filter
Oil filter
New oil
Timing belt depending on how long since it's been changed
Spark plugs
Check your cam and ignition timing while it's all apart

Yeah, standard stuff.
Oil filter is same as Camry V6 and 3S I think. There was a thread on 1G part numbers recently. Do a search.
