I have just managed to acquire a Corona MarkII mx10! I was just wondering what the recommended engine would be to drop in this baby!
I was thinking a 1GGTE. Will this fit the 2M engine mounts? or should I consider a different engine.
Thanks for ya help!

mate a 1ggte will fit ok with some work. Don't think the engine mounts will line up but it won't be too hard. Abe has done a close conversion to this and should be able to help you out.
Get the engine, make it fit IT will.

1GGTE, no torque. Get a 5/6MGE, 7MGTE or a JZ series engine. Your car weighs 1280 kg, it's not some lightweight.

I've decided to Keep it Simple Stupid at this satge and drop a 4M motor in it. If anyone can source one of these cheaply for me in Brisbane it would be appreciated.
Thanks for your suggestions guys!

HAHAHA! Why does everyone think a car that is 1260kg so heavy??? Everyone says this when a car like this pops up, can someone explain it to me. A 200SX has about the same weight, and a similar sized engine, but no one says its heavy!!
