what exactly do you want to do..

if you want a bigger engine you can go 3 X the weight of your car in cc's.

say u have a 1973 corolla. weighs approx 800kgs. u can put a 2.4L engine in it.

if it's something else. you will have to go to a mechanic that complys vehicle modifications.

if it's something relatively simpler, the department of transport has a little brochure about modifications.

hope this helps.

Qld Transport is where you need to go. Ask for a list of certified engineers, as the drone behind the counter or in the call centre won't have a clue about vehicle modifications. A certified engineer will have all the facts and understand what they mean.
