Just wondering how they handle power? Also, what is the code for the auto-box found in 88 GZ20 soarers?
I know they won't be a 2 speed powerglide, but how do they handle a lil bit of boost increase? Do they start slipping at a certain age or power level?
Mates of mine are having probs with their auto cars- not toyotas, they seem to have auto slipping problems big time when they add more horsepower....Whats the deal with these ever so common box's in soarers???

I had one in the celica ben and it pulled second gearies easily.
They seam pretty tough and have seen a few supra with 500hp on these stock boxes with no problem.

oh btw factory stall converter for these boxes are 7m-gte 1900rpm. 1jz-gte 2000rpm. not too sure about the 1g but from the celica i would say it is about the same area 1800-2000rpm.
