where to hook a MAP sensor to?

I hooked up my MAP sensor to the vacuum line that controls the power steering power increaser (for lack of a proper term.. red wine is getting to me)
I'm wondering if this is a fixed or variable vacuum line, and whether it might be part of my car's rather large problem.
I mainly ask because the p/s power upper isn't working... if at idle I turn the wheel hard, my car stalls
help?

Try tapping it off the fuel pressure regulator vac line, or find it a dedicated port. I have a fitting on my plenum that comes with either 2 or 3 vac fittings available. ATM I'm using 1 for fuel pressure, 1 for MAP, & one spare.

Yeah, keep it away from any line that opens up like that - when you turn the wheel and the vacuum valve opens, suddenly the MAP sensor will see stuff all vacuum, and add HEAPS of fuel, and make the car stall. You need to tee it into a line with a dead end, e.g. fuel pressure reg, or better still give it it's own hose. The power steering vacuum hose is probably the worst one you could choose!
