SX corolla shocks Mon, 28 April 2003 02:24 Go to next message
Im hoping some1 can help me here. I own a ae92 cs seca sitting on 17x7s but its still at stock height. The bloke at the wheel sho told me that I couldnt lower my car because the tyres would kep hitting the cups on the shocks. I now have the opportunity to grab a set of shocks and springs from a ae92 SX corolla. I have been told that these will fit into my car but are they any differant to the cs shocks I have in there now??? Will SX shocks allow me to lower my car??? There seems to be alot of SX secas running around lowered so im assuming the shocks must be differant

The CS Corolla strut bases where the spring sits on has a larger diameter than the SX Corollas... The SX's had better tuned suspension and a lower ride height than the other Rollas...

Well, I am going in tomorrow to talk to the good people from Carline Mufflers who will answer all my questions. For the meantime from what people on here have told me, SX hatch struts will fit the seca so all is good
