I had tryed looking in bunnings for these Rolling Eyes and all I found was molding clips, they were exactly the same except 1.5 to 2 times larger than the originals.

If anyone knows where to get the new chrome and the rubber trims for the bottom of the windows could you pm me or post.

the factory ones are metal, and you can get them through windscreen fitters, they stock heaps of different types of these.

I tried a few window people here and they couldnt help i didnt try toyota for genuine parts but id guess they would be a couple of bucks each.

1)go to a wrecking yard where there is a rusty old celica
2)remove clips with screw driver, try not to break them
3)put clips in kero to clean the goo off
4)fit them to your car,then try to put the chrome trim back on
5)give up when you realise the chrome is bent and the clips wont hold them on anyway
6)stick chrome on with silastic and wonder why you bothered in the first place

I could not be stuffed reading the whole thread so dont crucify me if this has been said. Call a company who installs windscreans and replaces them, they seemed to have the metal clips i need to place the chrome strips on the window when i had them recently put in. Although i used a Melbourne base company, in my research i found out that Novus which im not sure if they r national or not and Winscreens obrien have them.

Yeah I rang Novus and they have them but want $1.40 each Shocked Anyway I have found a place with them for .40c each!
