What is the AE82 standard performance figures?	Fri, 21 June 2002 04:40

I just bought me a stock AE82 4AGE Does anyone know what the original performance figures were or where I can find them? [Report message to a moderator]

The 4age out of the AE82 was the 86kw 4age, I think it produced somewhere in the range of 140nm of torque(not that sure really) one in decent condition should pull in just under 10 secs for a 0-100km/h [Report message to a moderator]

I've got a wheels magazine from 1986 with the then new twin Cam in it, if i remember i'll have a look tonight...but around 10sec to 100, and 17 for the 1/4 is about right. Ha, how bout that...i was right for a change...just had a look in Car Australia mag datedjune 1986...performance(?) figures as follows... 0-60: 4.9secs o-80: 8.2 0-100: 10.0 0-120: 14.0 1/4: 17.0 @ 130km/h As a point of interest, in the same magazine, standard VL commondore... 0-60: 4.7secs o-80: 7.1 0-100: 10.0 0-120: 13.7 1/4: 17.1 @ 134km/h [Updated on: Mon, 24 June 2002 09:13] [Report message to a moderator]

that would be for the auto(VL), I think the manual would do around 16.5 - 16.7 1/4. [Report message to a moderator]
