I have an RA-28 77 Celica,
I am planning on lowering it however i took my car to east coast suspension and they told me i can only lower it maximum 1 & 1/4".
Can anyone tell me what suspension they used and how low it can go, i was looking at least 1 & 1/2".
Will have 16" or 17" wheels.
You help is appreciated.
Thanks.

What a load of bollocks. Stock suspension on an RA28 almost has enough ride height to go rock-hopping! I lowered my RA23 2" and it's far from low... a lot of modern cars are heaps lower from the factory!

Are you sure that the springs in it are stock at the moment and not already lowered? Maybe it was lowered by the previous owner?
Cheers

my car went from 4WD to low (can go lower too!)... around about 2-3" in removed ride hieght. Take the car to another workshop because obviously this guy doesn't want your business

the 'super low' king springs took mine down by about 45mm, which is about 2 inches...
$240, do it yourself
