Good read for anyone who has a GT$ especially - very detailed on what to do and what to expect from modifications
I see that mines nearly completed " stage 1 " according to the guide

Is this the latest issue of zoom? Would it suit someone with just the engine?

it shows how to get upwards of 250 KW at the treads for Gt4's and what engine mods you should look at - so yes - it is good for engine modification ideas
In a ta22 - a 250kw at treads capable motor from a Gt4 would be a ballistic weapon
now wheres that group A ECU !

haha! bastard
you dont have 400kg more to haul
actually will look into seeing if a Grp A or JDM ecu is out there
their mapping is good to 12 psi - isntead of the aus spec 10psi

Stu,
you cant just swap to a Grp A ECU the pinouts are a little different.
Although if you want bang for buck for an ECU swap, WOLF 3D have been testing a plug & play ECU for the ST185. It should be ready by now, and off memory it was going to sell for about $1250

GRP A ECU has mapping to 17psi while the aussie one has it to 12.

I've looked at the wolf system too gee120, and I think it looks pretty good.
Found the zoom tuning guide a bit general, and how thin is that issue!

Gee120 nice pic of your car in that tutorial too
i like seeing non rice Gt4's makes me want a 205 down the track just that little bit more
As for the ECU - ill look into it down the track for sure - though for now im focusing on cosmetics till i turn 25 - then the power trip begins
Got the security system on today - Now researching on how to make some finerglass Speaker pods that Look standard - but allow for 6.5's in the doors ( and tweeters ) and 6x9's or 6 inch coax in the rear using the factory mount + loosing the plastic vibraty grill
So anyone in vic who is handy with fiberglass - or has a dead 6x9 or 6.5 inch speaker lying about - please contact me as ill need it for the dummy run

re speakers - no BIg holes will be cut - minimum damage will eb done to the doorskins where possible - just enough clearance space for the magnet for the speaker - most of the clearance will come thru the doorpods im trying to figure out how to make - so the whole thing looks " stock " not cut and shut ..
I did this in my ta22 - im sure i can do it for a GT4 - its just gunna cost a bit more $$ and labour. Plus i can sell remoulds to other Gt4 owners - whee !
