hey all,
**update, only 2 of the four wire sensors left**
i have a couple NEW oxygen sensors for sale. 2 types, 1 wire with toyota connector, and 4 wire heated sensor with crimp connectors. they are Borg-Warner brand for the 1 wires and NAPA-ECHLIN for the 4 wires.
and yes the price is firm it's the best i can do....
first is a 1 wire sensor which is listed as a replacement for many toytas including 4KE, 4AGE, 4AFE, 5SFE, 3SFE, 7MGE etc. it has a connector but you'll have to check if it the correct one. it comes with flange and gasket as shown in pic.
price is $40 plus postage of $3.
pictures are below:
second type is a 4 wire universal heated sensor. it has crimp connectors. has same thread as toyota sensors, M18x1.5. also comes with antisieze compound for the thread.

I'm interested in one of each (I think). My Soarer has 2 sensors, and I think it's one of each. I'm having fuel issues, so I want to replace the sensors anyway.
I'll be in touch very soon if I need em.

Are these narrow or wide band O2 sensors? Excuse the ignorant question, but I'm not certain of the differences.

I doubt that they are wideband sensors, as the prices are usually in the 4 digit range. They would just be factory replacements I imagine.

sorry guys, these are narrow band factory replacement sensors. the last price i saw for wideband (the NTK L1H1's?) was US$170 but they are hard to get hold of now that Honda and NTK have a deal going for exclusive supply...
so yeah, just normal narrow band sensors, new in box.

Thanks for the clarification.
I did read somewhere of OEM wide band O2 sensors being used - European car(s) from memory. I'll have a bit of a search when I need one.

yeah, there is a Bosch one being used.. is similar price but is not as yet supported by the DIY_WB.... i think the next version will tho...
basically to run the WB you need a WB controller (to control the oxygen pump) and then a display to see what is going on.... expect to get one going for about AUD$500+
they are good tho!!

Hey Stewart,
the 4 wire.. is the output compatible to the GE 86Kw ECU inputs??? just wondering if I should take my own advice from a few years back and upgrade seeing as i cant figure which wires on mine are the signal set

it should be. afaik all narrow band (re normal ppls ones ) sensors have a 0-1V output. it should be compatible.
the 4 wires are:
2 for heater, power and ground.
2 for the sensor, 1 is signal, 1 is ground.
to check which are the signal wires on yours, put a multimeter between ground and the pins/wires, while the motor is running and warm.
if it is 1 wire, you should get a +0-1V reading (signal) and at idle it should be around 0.5 for stoich.
if 2 wire, one will be 0 the other 0-1V
3 wires, one is +12V, one is 0V (heater ground), the last is the signal 0-1V.
4 wires, the two same colour wires should be the heater, one is +12V, one is ground, the different colour wires will be signal ground (0V) and signal (0-1V).
apart from the heater, the 4 wire has a remote ground, which you can ground to the computers ground, to eliminate any resistance between the exhaust (where a 1 wire is grounded), and the computers ground....
hope this helps a bit
how many wires are there atm? is it flanged? does the flange screw off?

well currently (sorta ) its the factory single wire setup which has its own baseplate so its a one piece as opposed to your 2 piece screw in setup not that theres an advantagfe either way really.
as for meassuring it I guess ill have to heat it up with a blowtorch or something...its going to be hard to measure voltage when its not plugged in thats why I have been having problems figuring it all out I dont know what it came off although it is definately Toyota.
