4AGZE and T50 q's

A few questions,
- What torque do the flywheel bolts on a GZE need?
- will a GE exhaust manifold/extractors fit and suit a GZE?
- Will GE rocker covers fit a GZE? (I want to lose the big supercharger logo, and yes, I am willing to swap if they fit)
- I have a rooted Sprinter T50, can I use a T18 or Celica T50 and change the bellhousing to replace the Sprinter box?
- What are the differences between T50s?
PS if anyone has a spare Sprinter box around I'd be very interested, quoted $380 just to fix a couple of synchros on the old one.

Flywheel bolt torque? I DID know a few weeks ago when I did mine, but it's slipped my mind again
The extractors will fit, all 16v 4AGs use the same exhaust ports.
The 'plain' valve covers (there's no rockers in there, thank God!) will fit.
The T50s aren't quite the same, sorry. The output shaft is different, and I think there's a few other minor differences internally as well.
What died on your old box?

BTW, just noticed you lived down Melbourne way. Last weekend there was an AE71 at pinch-a-part with the box still in it, I didn't grab it. Maybe it's still there, if you hurry

Thanks Mrshin,
"Rocker covers" what was I thinking??
My gearbox always crucnched a bit, specially into second. But after a thrash on corrugated roads refused to go into second from third (or above) unless you double declutched and revved it really hard. First to second was not great but generally worked. The advice I got was that replacing the synchros would hopefully solve the problem.
I'll see if I can get out to Pick a Part tomorrow. btw what was an AE71? Similar to a T18 but with a 4A?

hey mrshin, bought a stickered AE-71 w/4A-C. couldnt work out if it was a T-50 or W-50 box but paid $250 for complete, running vehicle (born to gamble). My cousin, a small engine mechanic, clutch kitted my sprinter and he looked at the box (its in the car). he reckons if the T-50 and W-50 differ externally, ive got a spare, tight T-50. Can you help me find out what the hell it is?
