G'day

i have a stock intercooler pipe of a 1ggte that i had modified to fit a blow off valve. It has had the welsch plug removed and the hole tapped and fitted with an elbow. has been polished.

It suits installation of almost any valve, all you need is a piece of pipe and hose clamps.

it looks very neat.

best offer.... or first decent offer...

i do have a spare of the other side to (not polished though)

cheers
Stew

ps i can email pics of it in the engine bay when it was fitted if you are interested.... (they are too big to post here)

Hi,

It's hard to tell on the power front....

but it did gain a pound of boost at stock pressure, plus the plenum is cool to the touch....
it is also alot quieter than it was which means the must have been power being converted to noise....

A mate in Newy did it for me....
stock throttle body with the coolant flow pipe removed from the bottom. There is other mucking round with throttlew cables and wire lenghts etc.... particuarly as i removed the wiring loom from running in side the craddle of the manifold...

But i am heaps happy with it.....

No other pics as i haven't bothered taking any....

Thanks Stew for the picture. Its nice to see it fits under the bonnet.

I am currently in the process of fitting a different TB to my 1GGTE. As well as fitting a T28 to a HKS exhaust manifold I am using a microtech LTX8. This cannot drive the Toyota stepper motor idle control and I also need to go to a bigger TB. I have got hold of a EB falcon (Manual) TB and plan to use this as the LTX8 can handle its idle control. The ford TB is also 75mm against 58mm for the original TB. I am also planning to use a 1GGZE inlet manifold as it does not have the VSV butterfly but just a single big port for each cylinder.

Craig
