im putting the 3sgte engine into my MR2, and ive been told that my standard lsd 3sge box will do the job !!! is this correct ????

Yes. but it depends how long you want it to last. the 3sge tranny sint built to have that much power running through it

plus youll have to upgrade your clutch cause a 3sgte will destroy a stocko 3sge clutch in quick order. youd be better off obviously sourcing a gearbox to suit .

If your getting a half cut to do the swap, you will get the E153 tranny with it too so u dont need to use the 3SGE one.

You can't use teh GT-Four tranny cos its 4WD if im not mistaken.

Mush is looking to buy an MR2 half cut so i was referring to the tranny off that (being the E153).
