What exactly do they do when they service an auto box.
Mine is slurring my gear changes between 1st and 2nd and would rather fix it myself.
What can i do to stop it from doing this?

I got a quote for around $120 for a auto service, and he said all they do is change the auto tranny fluid and filter and just check over it...

Apparently its not that hard to do your self?

Just spoke to my mechanic about it and he says the same thing.
Change the oil ASAP and that should do the trick.
So how much oil does a A340e take.
Should i drop the box and change all of it or just drain what i can and top it off?
