I have an 18RGU engine as some may know u can change the cam timing somewhat, what exactly does this do.
i.e. what does retarding the intake do
what does advancing the intake do ect ect

Intake timing normally doesnt make too much of a difference.
Exst timing does however...
Adv gives low end torqe.
Retarding gives high end hp.

if you have a stock RG
I wouldn't change the cam timing to much.
you may take out a valve.

by changing the timing you gain
1 to 5 hp.
