icon5.gif  New engineering/modifications guidelines? Sat, 22 June 2002 06:57 Go to next message
I saw a few posts on these forums a while back mentioning new engineering guidlines coming into force... would like to know if anyone else knows whether this has taken place and what the net effect is.

To my knowledge old engine capacity limits were based on capacity/weight multipliers of 2.5 (forced induction) and 3.0 (naturally aspirated)x weight for cars up to 1100kgs. Anyone know if this has changed?

I realise that the way rules are interpreted in practise plays a major part in their effect... I'm not about to make big $$$ modifications based on any advice given.
