ive just been informed by transport sa that i can not reregister my car there, of course they dont send a letter they jst wait till you ring them up when you cant renew rego on the net, well my rego expires today and im told that to rego it here i need a blue slip, since ive changed the engine also, how much greif will this entail?
does any one know of any body here that will go through the things i need to do and supply the said blue slip, i know i can find people in the phone book, but i want some one that may have delt with modded cars before, and not some one who will require that i hand over cash before telling me that my car is not "roadworthy" after glancing at it.
thanks in advance people.

TRG Automotive. Talk to DAVE. TRG has done loads of conversions and also does blue slips. 49568808. very good to deal with.

Ring somebody that does blue slips in your area. Tell them the nature of the engine swap, and ask their advice.
This is the only way to be sure that you are getting the correct info.
If you like what he has to say, go to him. If you don't, ring someone else.
At the end of the day it matters bugger all what so and so said on the Forums, because you will still need to see someone authorised to do the inspection.
Cheers
Jason
