Any one know a good toyota gearbox rebuilding place in Brissy. my gearbox sometimes doesn't go into 2nd or 3rd. How much would I expect to pay to get these rebuilt? I believe it's a standard 1976 celica manual gearbox.

remember... you start square you end square:S
the books will have all the info you need
however, i do remember a friend of mine got a gearbox done in a place over at acacia ridge, he reckons they did a fuckin awesome job... i'll get back to you with the address
oh, and... you can save a shit load of money if you take the gearbox out yourself and just take them the unit, minus bellhosing and extension housing of course

mate your 2nd/3rd syncro is gone it would be piece of piss to do. it wouldnnt' cost much for parts, but the labour involved would end up costing u like 600 bucks.im on the northside and could do it with you, but its up to you if u wan to take it to a shop. theres a good one round brendale somewhere i remeember called something gearbox servicing. anyways good luck
