my 90 model gt4 (aussie registered) has just been involved in a collision, and I desperately want to replace the existing front bar with that of a group A rallye. However to my dismay, on contacting toyota, I have been told the price to order one will be in the vicinity of 3 grand, due to the fact that all the reinforcements, brackets etc have to be replaced. Is there an easier way? has anyone heard of, or got, an aftermarket group A bar that just bolts on? any advice would be mauch appreciated

dannys right - they cost way under a grand - unless the front of your GT$ has been totally mangled
The bar itself shouldnt be more than $400 dollars , the indicators are $40 - $60 each , and the mounting bar for Group a Bumper is in the $150 range
Repainting should cost you around 300 for a very good bar including fitting
whoever told you this is talking pure unadulterated CRAP - as these prices i have got off toyota here in the last 2 months

Other than the reinforcement bar, there's nothing else that needs to be purchased for the bar to fit. You can use the indicators from the standard GT4 bar because they are the same as the GRP A items. I called Toyota and they quoted me around $400 for the bar unpainted.
This is a pic of my bar b4 i put it on and the reo bar u need to get:
And this is the spare GRP A one thats for sale if Classique71 decides he doesnt want it:
