I'll pencil it in.

One question... What/Where exactly are the Berowra toll gates?

Ok I admit I may be showing my age, a long long time ago in a galaxy far far away there used to be toll gates at berowra.

Anyhow, let me correct myself.

We will be meeting on the Pacific Highway near the Berowra entrance to the freeway. This is where the Old Pacific Highway starts (or ends??)

For anyone who is still unsure, I will put up a map in the next couple of days showing the meeting point.

I haven't gotten my roster yet, so I don't know, but if I am not working, I will be there...

Oh, Mr Plow hey, it'll be nice to catch up again...

	Sounds like fun!

Now that my radiator has been serviced (70% blocked ) I shouldn't have overheating problems like the last few cruises. Although I liked meeting the guys that stopped for me (craig, simon, mr plow - Nowra, and the dubbo guys) I don't feel like its the best way to travel.

I finish work at 6:00am that morning (& have to start again at 6:00pm that night), but I'll try to be there. The Old Pacific Highway used to be a fun drive when it was a true alternative to the free/tollway, wide open, largely abandoned roads travelled only by motorbikes & the odd police car But you could really blitz that road back then, no idea what it's like now though.

On my last trip down to Sydney from the North Coast, part of the freeway (the newer one) was blocked off due to an accident. We had to take a detour via the old Hwy I believe... not entirely sure, but if it is the road I'm thinking of, the RAV4 should handle it nicely. Koni adjustable suspension wound all the way down for really tight corners. Some old fart in a BMW towing a trailer tried to race me up a hill with some tight corners in it, and he ended up on the wrong side of the road with the trailer fish-tailing behind him.

	Hey Guys

It turns out I have several things on that day which include

car stuff, girlfriend stuff and work stuff. To make things easier

I have opted to work that day, cause, apart from the fact I need

the money, the girlfriend would kill me if she knew I had the day

off work and then ditched her for a cruise, and I would kill

myself if I had the day off and didn't go on the cruise, so, you

see, I have no choice, I will die unless I go to work and we

can't have me dieing, cause my girlfriend would kill me...

LOL, have a GR8 time though, oh, BEN, call me, we have to catch

up soon, you still got my number...

Ciao

Chris

	Chris,

Why not bring your gf along?

Wouldnt that solve the problem, you can cruise and be with your gf.

Thats what I'll be doing

Its not that simple, cause there is a lunch on that day with her

family (another storey in itself) that she said I was coming to

before she knew I was working. See, so, not that simple, and then

her family would say, oh, where is chris, and she would have to

say, he ditched us for a car cruise, and my love of cars is

already a joke to them... so, see, I'd be dead...

It's easier to work, then, next cruise, I am there

NO MATTER WHAT !!!

Ciao,

Chris

Hmmm, well the biggest RBT I've ever seen is currently set up at the old toll gates, there must have been close to 100 bikes pulled over, plus a heap of cars & plenty of cops too.

I guess with an hour left it's a bit hard to reorganise things, it should get interesting.......

Don't worry Juzzo, we didn't miss you ...

Did anyone get up to anything after I left at the park??? I had a few things to do so I had to go...

Maybe when the roads are opened again, then we might have to do the proper cruise route...

Yeah, that was a serious blitz and a half. I felt so sorry for that poor couple in the Datsun though, if they had of decided to just go the freeway north, they would have been fine.

Still, with all the police in the area concentrating on the blitz in that area (& nearby with their speed guns), it left the most of the other roads free of police
