T series Diff into #E3# Corolla Tue, 13 May 2003 04:47 Go to next message
I have a TE35 which originally had an S292, which has died, and will cost a small fortune to rebuild. What T series housing is closest to the width of the Corolla's housing?
I was also thinking of a liteace/tarago diff.
What is an acceptable variation in width of the housings?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Check out a TE72 next time you're at the wreckers, they have a series centre and if you're lucky the width might be similar. The acceptable variation in width basically depends on how much clearance your wheels have.

T18s are a bit wide, same as a sprinter. What about TA22?
I'm happy to change the mounts, not happy to shorten.
