I only replaced my inlet/exhaust manifold gaskets, head gasket and injector grommets
all other gaskets were intact and not in need of replacing
oh... and i replaced my timing belt too
Probably cost a total of $150!

VRS kit will have every gasket and seal required to put a fully reconditioned head together and back on the block.

Toyota wanted $532.40
Repco wants @392. Thats thru my mechanics account.
So if it has everything, its sounds like it worth it. GT does it include timing belt etc?
You would assume that that would be the norm for a HG repair...

Only gaskets, rvrolla. Timing belt is definitely extra, but you can buy non genuine here....save you a packet.

yes... vrs sets are generally gaskets only
i found it very questionable what they put in for mine
for instance i got some turbo gaskets as well (but not all)
they were also missing an injector o-ring
definately worth getting... but i found i had to get alot of other stuff too

You won't find injector O-rings in VRS kits.
