Lets just say their not Toyota Enthusiast's favorite engine Very Happy

A mate of mine had one in his Corona, went ok, had a bit of torque behind it. Until it ended up dying that is Laughing

they're not exactly the pride of the toyota line-up to say the least

but if it is genuinely rebuilt (and they can prove it) thats not a bad price

22R-E's arent performance engines tho Confused

110hp stock, so no they're not a performance engine by any means! They have lots of low rpm torque which is great for towing boats, but not so good for going fast. They're a very robust engine though and have a reputation for going forever if looked after properly.
