Well I finally got the loom from the 1GGTEU, bit of a bitch. One of the 15yo connectors broke. I noted the colour of the wire, traced it back to the pinout on the ECU plug and it turns out its the ICS 1 pin, idle control solenoid.

If someone here could just verify that what I've got on this pic here is indeed an idle control solenoid that'd be great.

Woohoo thanks! I'll try to get the one from the other car off ASAP! I underestimated how long it takes to get one of these off when you don't know where everything is!

if its a hassle dont worry bout it
its just as easy for me to put a plug on it from here
i recon id have a plug in my box of goodies
even if i dont i can get one for nothing

Nah, the connector snapped off, I'll get that off later before I put the completed loom back on. What I meant was that manouvering the wiring loom around the various things and hoses on the engine, and getting all the connectors off is really time consuming!? Very Happy
