Gearbox and Diff Options

I have a sprinter with a 4age. The engine is modified with the usual stuff cams, ecu etc
I don't know much about whats kind of parts are available for the sprinter since I have been driving around in a rex for the last few years and decided to upgraded to a sprinter.
I would like to know what gearbox and diff works well together. I would like to do some track work but also have some sort of drivability for the highway.
So as much info you can give me to bring me up to speed on whats available for the sprinter would help me greatly.
Thanks all. I'll will be posting pics and dyno sheets when I have enough free time.

Well I guess a good start would be to ask how much money you've got to spend on it, and what kind of treatment you give it! For a moderately driven 4AG you can't go too wrong with the standard T50, simply for light weight, size, etc. However, if you like to dish out a bit of a hiding, a W55/57/58 are really needed.
Likewise diffs. With some kind of reasonable treatment, a standard diff with 4.3 gears is a reasonable thing, although is you want one with an LSD they usually go for absurd prices. That aside, then you can adapt a range of Nissan/Borg Warner diffs. Let us know about the $ and treatment and I'll suggest what I can!

Doode ... are u for real? You must really believe in Initial D to think that a Rex is a downgrade from a Sprinter then ... even Bunta beats Takumi in a Sprinter with his WRX Sti ...
Guess you're already living up to your name ...
Anyway, the T-50 gearbox should withstand most power unless you run something like a 4AGZE. Sprinters are light cars and their chassis were never meant to take much power ... they are about balance and not power.
Still, with the money saved over from trading in the Rex, you could go either a 20 valve or 4AGZE conversion. If you wanted something more, then a SR20DET or even a Rotary conversion ...
The sky's the limit!
