ok, I know this has nothing to do with anything Toyota related....BUT
Went to Warringah Mall last night to see Matrix Reloaded at midnight.
Man that movie rocked! I thought it was totally sweet, and I like driving home late at night when (almost) every light is green. Tho' the rain SUX.
Anyone else seen it?

ner, ner Paul,
Weve seen it and you havent.
Top movie, it explains some bits from part 1 and craploads of action.
The only bad thing is the ending really leaves you hanging to see the next one.

Dude, people asked no body to talk about it, so what'd you do? Start talking about it?
You yourself appreciated the movie, so respect the wishes of others who haven't yet. And besides, that warning was so close to the text people would have probably started reading it...
I'm not killing the thread, I'm keeping the bloody peace.

Yeah, I did, but considering they must be the longest credits ever, I was hoping the preview would have been a bit longer!

I think if you have a high level knowledge of how the Unix Operating System works, have written program code, hacked and cracked systems, and know about Artifical Intelligence, you will find this movie absolutely riveting, a masterpiece.
Joe Blow off the street might find some of the dialogue scene boring. But for a computer geek it was amazing how abstract computing theories can be metaphorised into a kung fu action film.
Some of the concepts are so complex that it will be discuss for ages on it's means, a bit like a Zen mystery.
This movie is like a cross between lawnmower man and 2001 sapce oddessy.

Saw it today...
Absolutely awesome! Special effects (which, after all, were pioneered by the first one) taken to the next level!
I've got to say...Those guys are just about the coolest characters yet seen on film!
As for the 3rd one...Given that 2 and 3 were filmed back-to-back, you'd suggest that the 3rd one shouldn't be far away.
Next stop...DVD!

Heya all,
Well I went and saw it last nite, and I have to say I was impressed , the cg was absolutely jaw dropping and the story wasn't bad either. The evil twins were a nice touch, and the quote "swearing in french is like wiping your ass with silk" made the movie for me The freeway scene keeps your heart racing, yea its all good, but for some reason I like the first one better, saying that make sure you dont miss out on the second one! Maybe this is the nerd in me coming out but I was happy to see a SSH prompt come out on one of the screens anyway go see it(if you havn't already). Just bought the soundtrack aswell, its bloody awesome, and if you got 2 x 12" subs in your boot, these are the cd's to show 'em off!

Do not read if you haven't seen it. No plot points are given, but scenes in the movie are discussed.
Saw it yesterday. Nice special effects. I LOVE the scene where Neo fights all the Agent Smiths!!! The shear scale of the technical difficult of that scene is beyond comhrehension!!
Did you guys know that they built that freeway on an air force base just for the car chase scene in the film? $68mill!!
Anyway, I didn't like it as much as the first. There wasn't the same "mystery" about it. Plus, (here's a term for the programmers), things weren't kept in scope. Somehow the Oracle knew he was having bad dreams. How?
Maybe it'll all be explained in the third one.
And I stayed back and watched the little trailer for Revolutions. Waited like 20 mins for a 30 second thing.
Looks good though, can't wait till we see the mechs fight!
Apparently, they built the final scene so grand that they hope that it'll never be outdone.... Can't wait to see THAT!

Yep - Saw it yesterday too..
I didn't really like it as much as the first one either. Special effects and action/fight scenes far excelled over the first one (IMO) however I felt there was just something "missing" from the plot..

I saw it Thursday Night, 11:59 pm
The very first screening in Perth
it was VERY Kewl.. and i agree with Nark on the Agent Smith thing.. mind you, you probably see quite a bit of it if you've seen the trailers. and the fact that they couldnt close off a major road for 3 weeks helped with the making of their own highway.
I already want the new one out
that will be kewl
SLIGHT SPOILER... Kinda... If you dont want to know a plot point.. Dont read.
personally, i think the end, with the Architect (sp?) wasn't the best really.. i think that this movie could be bigger than a trilogy... especially as the game has had extra scenes filmed just for it, that flow straight in with the movie!
And they are also making a real Life Matrix!!
(game on PC, probably console too) that lets you create your own residual self image, plug in, and be with thousands of others at any time.. the world is ALWAYS online.. and you can fight against agents, work with others, get objectives, and so on.
I feel like a fool.. my mate and i both thought that there was something after the credits, but eveyrone else who was with us wanted to leave, so we didnt see the last thing!!
so were gonna go see it again
