Hey guys,
Rego is due (well, past due!) and I was wondering what the advantages of getting my car registered in the ACT were?
Do you need to get a roadworthy (pink slip) done? If not, then GIDDEEUP!

You will need to get rego but it like NSW now so you just take it to an approved inspection station which are all over town there are tonnes of good ones that people know about just start a post in the ACT section.
ACT rego is cheaper than NSW rego so thats a plus but you will have to buy new plates which are about $50 i guess it depends on when your contract runs out.
When are we going to see you at one of our meetings Nark i saw you at Dubbo but didnt get a chance to come up and say hello.

Thanks for the replies guys.
The whole reason for the switch would be because my car would prolly fail a roadworthy... My steering rack is looser than a $2 whore.
Everything is sorted anyway, will get the NSW rego.

mmmmmmm....$2 whore
Have you tried doing up the dampening screw on the rack Nark?
I have never done it but the rolla's from about KE70 on i think had rack n pinion steering and in the manuals there was a dampening screw might be the same on your celica.
